About this authentic vintage piece:
- Artist: L. Roach (a lesser-documented early 20th-century artist who created floral still lifes for reproduction lithographs).
- Title/Subject: Still life of orange poppies and wildflowers in a green dripped-glaze vase — a classic motif from the early Depression-era home decor movement.
- Medium: Chromolithograph on textured paper, designed to resemble oil paint. The surface texture and slight raised “brushstroke” look were achieved with embossing during printing.
- Era: Pre-1940s, most likely circa 1930–1938, given the frame construction, color palette, and print finish.

Frame Characteristics
Octagonal pressed-wood frame with gesso detailing and original deep green paint with gold highlights, typical of late-1920s framing trends.
The reverse (because it’s original) has a cardboard backing —further proof of authenticity.
